Decorating outside with corn stalks, hay, pumpkins and mums. Going up to Red Barn Farm and looking out at the magnificent view of the rolling hills dotted with farmsteads. You pickem' apple orchards, and having a crisp carmel apple.
I wish you could truly see how vibrant these colors are in person. God took his paint brush and colored all these lovely trees with these beautiful rich tones. The peacefulness watching the leaves slowly fall and float through the air and gently land upon each other.

Beautiful photos, Nancy. Fall is my favorite time of year too. I'm thinking pumpkin pie today.
Nancy, your photos are brilliantly beautiful! Gorgeous. I love how you make the most of your surroundings, really "seeing" and appreciating where you live.
Our leaves are still mostly green; we have a slower start to Fall. But our temps are cooling and it's lovely right now ... and wouldn't you know I'm leaving tomorrow for Southern California for a week where it is HOT and smokey?
Have a lovely week!

Beautiful fall foliage, Nancy.....how long since you moved from CA?
Our trees are not turning yet -- but I think we will have an early fall this year. Your trees are beautiful.
How can you not like Autumn...it is simply gorgeous!

Lovely, just lovely! Fall always reminds me what I appreciate about living in the midwest...the change of seasons. Fall is by far my farvorite. Must be why I married in October!!!
