This is the time of year where I love going through magazines, looking for ideas for the outdoors and wishing I had planted 10,000 more bulbs in my yard to enjoy. We have been having the perfect combination of weather...sunny during the day, thunderstorms at night = emerald green here in Kansas.
I keep getting more and more ideas in my head on what I would like our backyard to look like, and like the idea of having a little path to meander around with little alcoves of interest here and there.
I've always loved old pots with moss growing up one side, or rusted architectural elements that
give things a vintage look.
I cut some lilacs this weekend and put them on the dining room table and the scent is heavenly.

I love gardens. The style at Linderhof is supposed to be English Cottagey. But our garden is a city lot so space is at a premium.
I'm so envious that your lilacs are in bloom. We're about 2 months behind up here in the North! This year we're going to naturalize daffodils in the apple orchard.
I love lilacs such a pretty flower. I think all gardens are beautiful since they are full of what one loves.
Enjoy your day,
Elizabeth
Hi Nancy,
Yes the place mats are from April Cornell, I love her fabrics. You must too. Did I ever tell you that I had a Row couch with Acorn fabric it was red and beige. I will have to see if I can find a picture of the couch.

STOPPED BY FOR A VISIT. I REALLY ENJOYED YOUR BLOG! BLESSINGS, FAYE
The weather is a bit hit or miss here still. But my husband and I have been tidying up after the winter storms and are having so much fun seeing what is popping back up. I will share pics when things fill out.
Stay Cozy, Carrie
Stop by Linderhof, I have something for you.
