Bruschetta

This is an easy crowd pleaser that always taste great. So simple and easy there are only a few steps to make this nice appetizer.

To make the crostini, slice baguette to desired width. Drizzle with extra
virgin olive oil and toast in oven until golden...about 7-10 minutes.

Chopped up a nice fresh garden tomato and some fresh basil. I like to add
some dashes of balsamic vinegar to the mix. Add salt & pepper to taste.

After crostini had cooled, spread with goat cheese and add tomato mixture.

Goes really nice with a chilled glass of your favorite wine, someone you love and watching the sunset out in the backyard. Make sure you have the bird feeder filled and fresh water in the bird bath for best results! :) Enjoy!

YUMMO Girl!! This is one of my all time fave things...how did you know??!! The only difference is that I prefer it with CILANTRO instead of basil!! Have you ever tried that?
Absolutely to die for!! I also add some fresh garlic along with balsamic and olive oil in with the tomatoes!!

Hope you have a wonderful week!! I'm getting ready to go visit my sis up in north Florida for 4-5 days!! She's the best sis I could ask for!!

Love and hugs,
Becky

I love bruschetta. It looks yummy. Thanks for the comment on my mailbox. I'm sure the postman has to fight his way through the vines to get to the door. He probably doesn't like it too much!

Sigh. Nancy, can you come over and make this for me? And then serve it to me, on the patio out back?!

My gosh that sounds good! AND it looks wonderful! I only have one tomato plant this year. Next year I hope to have a couple more. I MUST try this.
Also..thank you for your ever so sweet visit. Yes..the cupcakes ARE definitely a theme lately. Easy and look pretty for company.
Always that special cake though. This coming weekend is a wedding reception for one of my granddaughters. I featured her wedding shower a few weeks ago...and it will be interesting to see what the reception is like. Probably summery. I think my daughter has adopted my dishes. :)
I love your recipe and I am going to try it!
I will fill the bird feeders and the fountain..for sure! :)

Yummy. Really makes me wish I'd planted a pot of basil like I'd planned. I'll have to try it with goat cheese sometime.

Springtime!

Spring has sprung and I am enjoying every little blossom and bird that comes my way! Have a beautiful day my friends!
